DIY Peter Pan Collar Necklace

DIY Peter Pan Collar Necklace
The Peter Pan collar necklace is widely popular in many stores retailing for a price that's not worth paying for. Here is a cheaper option with most of these items found around the house.
There are many variations of the peter pan collar necklace but I'll be showing you the Pearl Peter Pan Collar Necklace. Hope you enjoy!

What you'll need
- Peter Pan Collar template
- Black sheet of Felt
- Pearls (different sizes)
- Fabric glue
- Scissors
- Ribbon

- Needles

Optional
- Sponge brush
- Hot Glue gun

Steps!

1) Print your Peter Pan collar necklace template out and cut out your template.

2) Lay your piece of felt infront of you and place your template over it the way you would like it. Take some needles and pin the template to the piece of felt so the template doesn't move.

3) Follow the template and cut out the collar.

4) Grab your fabric glue and start gluing all around onto your piece of felt. Then grab a few pearls and place them on the glue that's on the collar. Do this all around the collar. If it's taking too long you can pour a generous amount of glue onto the collar and spread it around with a Sponge brush.

5) Let the necklace dry for 1-2 hours depending on how long it takes for your glue to be completely dry. If there are gaps in the necklace continue the process in step 4.

6) Grab a tape of ribbon and cut a genorous length that fits around your neck with a few centimetres extra so its not to tight. Glue one end to one of the corners of the collar with your fabric glue or with a hot glue gun and then do the same to the other corner with the other end.

And there you go! a beautiful classy necklace with simplest of materials!

Enjoy & Have fun xox

Top 5 Fave Songs Of March 2013 - Chrissi

Top 5 Fave Songs Of March 2013 - Chrissi

1. Daydreamer - Adele [This song is just so lax and different to what Adele does today. Instead of her usual mopey, hate songs this is perfectly sweet and love filled. Gorge!]

2. Everything Goes Dark - The Hoosiers [ I've only recently found this artist, but I have just fallen in love with the majority of their songs. Especially this one. Its not the lyrics that really catch me but the melody. Have a listen.]

3. Trouble Is A Friend - Lenka [What really caught me was the intro, keyboards really draw me in. I especially adore the lyric "...The eye of the storm, wanna cry in morn, oh oh..." When its raining, I feel like its the best time to let all your emotions out, so this line really speaks to me.]

4. Let The Flames Begin - Paramore [ This is an old song from like the year 2007 but its been on repeat lately. I had forgotten how amazing Paramore used to be. There new stuff's alright but OH GOD, there older stuff :DDD It makes me happah.]

5. Feel Good Inc - Gorillaz [ Do I even have to say anything? Pure amazingness. I don't know what  it is that pulls me in. The bass line? The phone box voice? The lyrics? The effects? Whatever it is, I know that I'm going to love the song for a very long time.]

And that's it, guys. Hope you enjoyed finding out about my fave songs of the month and that it inspires you to listen to some of this stuff. They are really great artists. I don't recommend anything but the best! Hahaha. Have a good day.
Chrissi out. xoxo
